Heart of the Furnace4-piece, if Odette isn't using it
In short: the Cryo Traveler is a Stellar reaction character whose damage scales with ATK. In Stellar-Conduct they're the on-field main DPS; in Stellar Swirl, a sub-DPS providing Cryo for the reaction. The role decides the set and leveling order.
Set by team: Stellar-Conduct — Disenchantment in Deep Shadow; Stellar Swirl — Tenacity of the Millelith (ATK buff for the whole team), or Heart of the Furnace if Odette isn't using it.
How they play: the Skill builds Frost Radiance stacks and the Burst spends them for boosted damage — that's why the Burst is leveled first. In Stellar-Conduct: Skill → two Normal Attacks and a Charged Attack → Burst at full stacks. In Stellar Swirl: Skill → special Charged Attack → Burst.
Stats: ATK 2000+ (Game8 recommends 2400+), Crit Rate 60–70%, Crit DMG 140%+, Energy Recharge 125–145%, Elemental Mastery 150–200 as a bonus.
Constellations: C1 helps with energy, C2 gives Elemental Mastery, C6 is the strongest: it boosts the whole team's Stellar Glimmer.

Is it worth pulling team damage gain, gcsim simulation
How much the whole team's damage grows compared to C0 with Emberwell (R5). Gains are cumulative: C2 includes C1.
If you pick one, the weapon gives more — and weapon banner pulls don't use up your character pity either.
How we calculated
We put this team and rotation together ourselves from an open guide, since the gcsim simulation database has no suitable team. Teammate builds come from our guides; the whole team's substats are tuned to the KQM standard for each weapon separately. C0 with Emberwell: 71,388 damage per second.
The gain depends on the team and investment: treat it as a guideline, not an exact number for your account. Rotation source · gcsim 4eda9fc, 2026-10-17

Ice Fog Piercer
Stabs at the opponent with the Traveler's weapon, which releases an ice-cold fog. This deals Cryo DMG to opponents up ahead and forms a Frostpierce Star next to the Traveler. Frostpierce Star · Follows your own party members around the field and periodically fires ice crystals at nearby opponents, dealing Cryo DMG. Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: The Frostpierce Star will no longer fire ice crystals at opponents at intervals but will instead fire an ice crystal at opponents in a coordinated attack when the Traveler hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, or Plunging Attack. This effect can trigger once every 0.2s. · When an opponent is hit with an ice crystal, the Traveler gains 1 stack of **Frostglow** (max 8 stacks). · When not in combat, Frostglow expires after 30s.

Frostbound Javelin
Generates an ice javelin with the power of Cryo, then directs it at enemies to deal multiple instances of Cryo DMG. When cast, the Traveler consumes all existing stacks of Frostglow, which in turn increases the DMG dealt by this Elemental Burst. When 8 stacks of **Frostglow** are consumed, the number of DMG instances caused by the javelins is also increased. **Radiance: Stellar Glimmer**: DMG from the current Elemental Burst is changed to Cryo DMG of the corresponding Stellar Glimmer reaction type.
