Community rules

GenshinFlex is a fan site for people who love Genshin Impact. These rules apply to the forum, public profiles, and anything else you write on the site. They are short, and moderators apply them by their intent, not to the letter.

Respect people

  • Argue with opinions, not with people. Insults, harassment, threats, and personal attacks are not allowed.
  • No discrimination based on nationality, gender, orientation, religion, age, or any other trait.
  • Do not post other people’s personal data: real names, addresses, contacts, photos, or private messages. Share another player’s game UID only with their consent.
  • Do not impersonate another user, a moderator, or HoYoverse staff.

Stay on topic

  • Pick the right section and a clear thread title. Search first in case the thread already exists.
  • No flooding, empty messages, or the same post across several threads.
  • Hide story spoilers with ||spoiler||, especially in the first weeks after a patch. Thread titles must not contain spoilers.
  • Write in the thread’s language: Russian in Russian threads, English in English threads, Spanish in Spanish threads.

No spam or harm

  • No advertising, referral links, or selling and buying accounts, Primogems, or leveling services.
  • No cheats, modified clients, exploits that ruin the game for others, or ways around HoYoverse’s rules. Discussing bugs is fine; spreading instructions for abusing them is not.
  • Do not ask for or post login details, authkey values, or other people’s wish history links.
  • No malicious or phishing links. New accounts can post links 3 days after registration.
  • No 18+, gore, or shock content, including in avatars, banners, and profile backgrounds.

Leaks and other people’s work

  • Leaks of future versions are discussed only in a section that moderators open for them, and nowhere else.
  • Credit the source when you retell someone else’s guide, calculation, or video. Do not copy other people’s texts in full.
  • Do not post material you have no rights to, except quotes and in-game screenshots.

Reports and moderation

  • If you see a violation, click “Report” under the post and pick a reason. Do not reply to the offender in the thread.
  • Moderators can hide a post, lock, pin, or move a thread to another section, and issue a temporary or permanent forum ban. Serious violations (threats, phishing, hacking) can get the whole account banned.
  • Penalties depend on how serious and repeated a violation is. Evading a ban with a second account extends it.
  • If you disagree with a decision, write to us through the feedback form or on Discord, calmly and without public arguments on the forum.

Your data

Posts and profiles are public. How we store messages and reports, and what happens to your posts after you delete your account, is described in the privacy policy.
