In short: Lohen is a Cryo main DPS whose damage depends heavily on his allies. While he's in Masterstroke, damage from other party members builds his Will to Win, which powers up his special Skill and Burst. So he needs strong off-field sub DPS, and his build is classic: ATK sands, Cryo goblet, crit circlet.
How he plays: Unforeseen Strike enters Masterstroke. In this mode Lohen builds Joy and spends it on the special Skill Etched Into Bone and Soul — up to three times per mode. His Burst, Manifest Judgment, is a flurry of strikes that consumes all Will to Win, hits harder the more was stored, and extends Masterstroke. If an ally deals a single hit worth at least 3000% of Lohen's base ATK, he gains an extra 60 Will to Win.
Hexerei: his third passive temporarily raises his Skill level by 1 and extends that bonus if his allies' talents are leveled at least as high. With Hexerei characters (Durin, Nicole, Venti, Sucrose) the A Day Carved From Rising Winds set reaches its full effect — that's where his best teams come from.
Stats: ATK 2000+, Crit Rate 50–60% before set bonuses, Crit DMG 175%+, Energy Recharge 100–130%. In Melt, add 50–200 Elemental Mastery.
Partners: Durin and Nicole are the core of his Melt team: both attack off-field, buff Lohen and build his Will to Win. Citlali provides Cryo and shreds resistance. In Freeze, Escoffier and Furina boost damage, while Mona, Vodyanitsa or Yelan keep Hydro on enemies.
Constellations: the first good stopping point is C2: an extra Cryo strike for 500% ATK and +200 Elemental Mastery for the team. C1 raises the Will to Win cap, C4 restores energy. C6 is the strongest: his special Skill and Burst stop consuming Will to Win.
Weaknesses: without strong off-field sub DPS and Hexerei characters Lohen drops off noticeably, and his best teams require Durin or Nicole.

As he searches for weaknesses, Lohen switches to **Masterstroke** mode. While in this state: · Lohen can actively accumulate **Joy**, using it to unleash the special Elemental Skill **Etched Into Bone and Soul**. · Nearby party members can accumulate **Will to Win** for Lohen, increasing the DMG dealt by Etched Into Bone and Soul. Moratorium on Questioning
When nearby party members accumulate **Will to Win** for Lohen by dealing DMG while he is in **Masterstroke** mode, if that DMG is not less than 3,000% of Lohen's Base ATK, it will accumulate an extra 60 Will to Win.
Flippant Masterpiece
While in **Masterstroke** mode, for 8s after another nearby party member triggers a Cryo Reaction, that character's ATK is increased by 15%, while Lohen's ATK is increased by 15%.
When the Mood Strikes
Lohen gains "High Spirits" for 9s after he unleashes the Elemental Skill Unforeseen Strike: Increases the Skill Level of Unforeseen Strike by 1. When unleashing an Elemental Skill, if the Level of any other party member's Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst is not lower than Lohen's Elemental Skill Level, the duration of this instance of High Spirits will be increased by an additional 6s. High Spirits can be gained once every 18s.

Lohen's maximum **Will to Win** limit is increased to 300% of its original value. Additionally, when other nearby party members deal DMG while Lohen is in **Masterstroke** mode, they accumulate 500% as much Will to Win for him as they originally would have.
In Flight, I Strike Whatever Flies
When in **Masterstroke** mode, after the special Elemental Skill **Etched Into Bone and Soul** hits an opponent or the Elemental Burst Manifest Judgment is unleashed, Lohen gains "Evilsbane Blade" for 4s: The next time Lohen hits an opponent with a Normal or Charged Attack while in Masterstroke mode, he will follow up with an additional strike that deals AoE Cryo DMG equal to 500% of his ATK, and increase the Elemental Mastery of other nearby party members by 200 for 8s. Evilsbane Blade can be triggered once every 4s.
