Rotation

Mitya as main DPS

Yae E → E → E → Valeriy E → CA → Mitya CA → E → Odette E → E → Valeriy Q → Mitya E (hold) → CA → Q → CA

Press Charged Attack right as he comes on field: too early does nothing, too late loses damage. After that, press it whenever you reach 4 Gradient Beacons: his Burst gives 3 at once. About 15 Gradient Detonation shots per rotation.

Support

E (tap) → switch

The core collects Gradient Beacons from party reactions on its own and spends them when it expires or a new core is created.

Detailed guide

In short: a 7.2 5★ Electro catalyst and the core of Stellar-Conduct teams (Electro + Cryo). Stellar-Conduct damage and his party buffs come from Elemental Mastery, and his Burst's EM multiplier is twice its ATK multiplier. ATK only matters for part of his hits, so don't build it.

Two Skill modes: tap creates a Steady State Detection Core: Mitya leaves the field, the core collects Gradient Beacons, and each beacon gives the party +30 EM (up to +120). Hold creates an Overloaded core: his Charged Attack becomes Gradient Detonation, which costs no Stamina, spends beacons and deals Stellar-Conduct damage. This is the main DPS mode. Within 6s of using the Skill, tap it again to switch the core's mode.

Stats: EM on sands and goblet, crit on the circlet. His passive raises the party's base Stellar-Conduct DMG by 0.028% per EM point, capped at 14% at 500 EM. Creating beacons gives him up to +20% CRIT Rate, so he needs less crit in substats than usual.

Weapons: in early access tests his signature catalyst gives about +35% damage over Sacrificial Fragments, but it's not on the site yet. It's a poor pull for party damage: C1 and C2 give more, and if you own Reliquary of Truth you can skip the signature. The best 4★ options are Dawning Frost and Winter's Heavy Heart, and the best free one is Etherlight Spindlelute.

Partners: Odette or Diona as the Cryo for the reaction, Yae Miko as the second Electro, and Valeriy as the buffer: inside a Polestar Field he enters Radiance and boosts reaction damage specifically. If you only need an off-field support, you can wait for Danica in 7.3.

Pulls and talents: pull C1, then C2, then the signature. C1 adds a beacon on Skill, raises the cap to 5, gives the active character +40% CRIT DMG and restores energy. C2 cuts enemy Cryo and Electro RES by 20%. As main DPS, level Normal Attack first, with Skill and Burst equal after it. As a support, level Skill, then Burst, and Normal Attack last.

Talents and multipliers are checked against 7.2 game data. Weapon comparisons and rotations come from early access tests; gear and constellation priorities come from the Genshin Impact | iNFO guide.
